It’s been six months since Colorado legalized recreational pot. Looking back, we’re seeing less crime in Denver, and also seeing an increase in tax revenue. Eleven million in pot taxes alone. The one sticking point with recreational so far is the strength of edibles. New folks don’t want to smoke, so they’ve been eating brownies and being Americans they can’t eat ONLY one-sixteenth of a brownie and so they get too hammered. It looks like the Colorado legislature is going to cut the strength of edibles.
