Some good news: CONGRESS has voted TO ALLOW POT BANKING.

That’s “banking”. Not “baking”. Sorry, folks.

It sounds like a boring issue, but it’s not. See, medical and recreational pot shops can’t legally use banks, so they generate millions in cash and become targets for robbery and fraud. Last week, the House of Representatives approved the Henk Amendment, blocking the Treasury Department from penalizing banks who accepted pot cash.

Not so fast.

The new law heads to the Senate, where it faces long odds. Democrats like California Senator Diane Feinstein oppose checking accounts for pot shops; calling it drug trafficking.
