Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signed a law July twentieth adding children with epilepsy to the state’s young medical cannabis program. The plant’s been used since Biblical times to treat seizure disorders. And thousands of families with really sick kids have moved across the country to access cannabis extracts . Illinois’ Dept of Health begins
enrolling patients in September. Children with epilepsy become eligible in January.
